Author's
Biography:
Karen
Kinna is a former journalist from Vancouver, B.C. Canada.
She holds a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature with
specialties in American and Canadian Contemporary Lit.
She currently worships the sun happily in San Antonio, Texas
with her husband, two daughters, and 18 dachshunds.
Karen
won several awards for her 1991 novella,
"Time Enough to Touch," a 50,000 word story about
an
elderly woman who volunteers with dying AIDS patients.
A
lifetime scribe, Karen has written everything from
children's books to stage plays, erotica to science fiction.
She's penned short stories in all genres, and recently
completed her second romance novel.
When
she dies, Karen fully expects that her three kiddos
will have a helluva time with copyright issues
due to her plentiful use of pseudonyms over the years.
As
a theater critic, her "ON STAGE" columns were published tri-weekly
out of three sister papers in Vancouver for over a decade.
She has interviewed many international celebrities,
including Robin Williams, Alan Jackson, and Lisa Brokop,
as well as various Canadian political figures.
Karen is currently working on her third mainstream novel entitled:
"The Neighbors"
which she describes as:
"A
light satire based roughly on
the wooly & wacky residents
of my cul-de-sac."
